I decided to make this site when I discovered that I had about 1200 scans of manga/anime on my hard disk that I wasn't using for anything. Some I had downloaded somewhere, but many were tings I had scanned myself, maybe thinking I would use them for some fan-site or the other. Just, I never did. So I thought, "Hey, why don't I just put the whole bunch up on the web and not bother with the talking, just letting people look at 'em?" I thought this was a pretty good idea, so I followed it. All scans up here I have scanned myself, from things I have actually held in my hands, physically, in real life. I'm a nerd when it comes to such things; they are scanned from books, illustrations collections, magazines, and merchandises, most of which I own. You can see a list of related items I own here, so you could also request a scan if that's to your liking. I have used a Hewlett Packard scanner, and edited most images in stuff like PhotoEditor, PhotoShop, and PhotoPaint. I use a laptop myself, so if the brightness and contrast of some images are a bit wacky, just fix 'em yourself. I'm trying to put up scans in reasonable size and quolity. (That's also why I have this site on Tripod -- they give me 50megs.) If you think a scan is too small / poor, feel free to mail me and I'll see what I can do about it. I have given away some of the merchandises and such after taking a scan, so maybe I can't do anything, but we'll see. Feel free to take the images anywhere you please to. Just don't make money out of 'em -- I'm probably breaking some copyrights already, but I'm not doing it for money, just pleasure. If you take, say, three or more images from this site and put them up / use them on another site, I'd appreciate a link back from wherever on the site you feel appropriate. That's about it.
